The 'Today' Hosts Asked Ryan Reynolds About His Newborn Baby's Name, And He Couldn't Help But Troll Them

Ryan Reynolds' reputation as a jokester doesn't stop when he leaves set.

Appearing on The Today Show this past Thursday, December 12, Reynolds was asked by the hosts what he planned on revealing the name or possibly even naming his third child.

One couldn't help but get the impression he didn't give them a 100% honest answer.

When asked what he and his wife, Blake Lively, were going to name their youngest, Reynolds couldn't help but troll the hosts a bit, answering:

"We haven't yet! We're gonna be original, and all of the letters in her name are silent. I want to give her something to push against in life."
Co-host Craig Melvin played along.
"She'll be known as anonymous!"

Reynolds and Lively have typically waited a few months after the births of their children to publicly announce their arrival. He waited similar amounts of time with his first two girls, Inez, 3, and James, 5.

Only recently did Reynolds acknowledge the birth of his third child, and even now has gone to great lengths to preserve their privacy.

In a post about climate change, Reynolds covered his baby's face so it couldn't be seen.

Saying life with three daughters was "incredible," Reynolds commented that:

"Leaving the house is getting harder and harder."

He continued:

"It's all women, and I would have it no other way. Doing my part to wipe men off the face of the earth."

Twitter continued its lifelong love affair with the handsome jokester.

Congratulations on the new baby, Blake and Ryan!

Hopefully they appreciate the unique name you've chosen for them.
