Ryan Gosling Perfectly Claps Back At Twitter Trolls Who Claim He's 'Too Old' To Play Ken

The 'Barbie' star put trolls on blast for suddenly claiming they've 'cared about Ken this whole time.'

"He's just Ken," but Ryan Gosling cares deeply about him.

And the Barbie counterpart has no time for trolls claiming he's "too old" to play the plastic arm piece, pretending they've "cared about Ken this whole time."

In a recent interview with GQ, Gosling opened up about ageist remarks made about the casting of him as Ken.

“It is funny, this kind of clutching-your-pearls idea of, like, #notmyken. Like you ever thought about Ken before this?”
“Everyone was fine with that, for him to have a job that is nothing. But suddenly, it’s like, ‘No, we’ve cared about Ken this whole time.’"
"No, you didn’t. You never did. You never cared."
"Barbie never f**ked with Ken. That’s the point."
"If you ever really cared about Ken, you would know that nobody cared about Ken."
"So your hypocrisy is exposed. This is why his story must be told.”

People on social media absolutely loved that Gosling jumped to the defense of his dear Ken.

In the interview, Gosling admitted he's now fully invested in Ken.

"I care about this dude now. I'm like his representative."

He joked:

"'Ken couldn't show up to receive this award, so I'm here to accept it for him.'"

Gosling admitted Ken is closely connected with his younger self and attributes his success to that guy.

“There’s something about this Ken that really, I think, relates to that version of myself."
"Just, like, the guy that was putting on Hammer pants and dancing at the mall and smelling like Drakkar Noir and Aqua Net-ing bangs. I owe that kid a lot."
"I feel like I was very quick to distance myself from him when I started making more serious films."
"But the reality is that, like, he’s the reason I have everything I have.”

How many days until July 21?

White House Slammed After Replacing Obama Portrait With Painting Of Trump's Assassination Attempt

The White House is facing heavy criticism after it posted a video on X showing off a new painting of President Donald Trump's assassination attempt last summer—that is now hanging where an official portrait of former President Barack Obama was once displayed.

The portrait of Obama, unveiled in 2022 during former President Joe Biden’s administration, remains on display in the White House but has been relocated. Originally hung near the staircase to the presidential residence on the State Floor, it has been moved to the opposite wall—where a portrait of former President George W. Bush once hung.
