Ryan Gosling And Mikey Day Reunite As Beavis And Butt-Head For 'The Fall Guy' Red Carpet

The pair of actors, who went viral for appearing as live-action versions of the animated duo on 'SNL,' donned the costumes and prosthetics once again for the red carpet at the premiere of Gosling's new movie 'The Fall Guy'—and fans can't get enough.

Hollywood A-lister Ryan Gosling elicited laughter from onlookers at the Los Angeles premiere of his latest comedy action film The Fall Guy when he appeared as Beavis from the '90s adult animated series Beavis and Butt-Head.

Before the Barbie actor dressed as the teenage slacker at the Tuesday, April 30 event, Gosling posed for a photo-op with his Fall Guy co-star Emily Blunt, looking smart and dashing in his form-fitting monochromatic mint suit.

Later, he hilariously crashed Blunt's red carpet interview after ditching the suit for a heavy metal T-shirt, shorts, and a yellow wig. SNL's Mikey Day, who was Butt-Head, the character, joined him.

The comical hijinks were a nod to their viral SNL sketch from an episode Gosling hosted in which he and Day portrayed the cartoon characters and left SNL actor Heidi Gardner in stitches.

The sketch's premise involved Gardner as a news anchor interviewing fellow SNL star Kenan Thompson as a professor who kept getting distracted from two audience members, Gosling and Day, who held uncanny resemblances to Beavis and Butt-Head, respectively.

Gardner especially lost it and broke character after seeing Day's imitation of Butt-Head with his character's trademark exposed gums.

For context, you can watch the SNL sketch that went viral here.

Here is Gosling and Day at Tuesday's event when they crashed an interview with Emily Blunt, or Emily "Blarnt," as referred to by Beavis and Butt-Head.

Fans were living for the ridiculous histrionics.

Viewers also thought the repeat cameo was a prognostication of things to come.

Gardner addressed her struggle to stay in character during the infamous SNL sketch in an interview with Vulture.

She recalled:

"I just couldn't prepare for what I saw. I really tried."
"I even saw Mikey out of the corner of my eye seconds before I went live. I saw the red shorts. I knew I couldn’t look over there again."
"Mikey even told me later that he was bending down and hiding himself so I wouldn’t see him.”

The original Beavis and Butt-Head series ran from 1993 to 1997 but was rebooted by MTV in 2011 and again by Paramount+ in 2022.

As for a live-action remake, we'll have to wait and see if the former Ken becomes "Just Beavis" to team up with Day as Butt-Head.

The Fall Guy, based on the 1980s TV series about Hollywood stunt performers, will land in theaters on May 3.

Gavin Newsom Shames Trump For 'Politicizing' Los Angeles Fires In Powerful Clip

After President-elect Donald Trump spread lies about the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires, blaming California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom for the destruction, Newsom addressed the matter on CNN, telling Anderson Cooper that Trump "wanted to politicize" the disaster even as people flee and lose their lives.

Deadly wildfires in Los Angeles County remain largely uncontained, with officials reporting at least five confirmed fatalities so far. However, on Thursday, authorities admitted, “frankly, we don’t know” the true extent of the death toll. Evacuation orders are currently affecting nearly 180,000 residents, as thousands of homes and buildings have been destroyed.
