Rudy Giuliani Mocked For Doing MyPillow Ad During 1 Hour UFO Video

Rudy Giuliani Mocked For Doing MyPillow Ad During 1 Hour UFO Video
@therecount/Twitter

Rudy Giuliani, one of former Republican President Donald Trump's personal attorneys and reported closest confidantes, is back to his deeply weird antics. This time he's got something to sell you, in the literal sense.

During an hour-plus-long video on his YouTube channel—which he titled Common Sense without an ounce of irony—Giuliani claimed the Pentagon was about to release proof aliens exist. He took time out several times to flog MyPillow, the pillow company of problematic Trump pal Mike Lindell.

Yes, the man who was once dubbed "America's Mayor" for his actions on September 11, 2001 is now flogging a conspiracy theorist's pillows—and towels, and slippers—on his YouTube show.

Giuliani's effusive ad for MyPillow came during a lengthy diatribe about UFOs. His latest Common Sense episode included an interview with UFO expert Nick Pope, a former UFO investigator for the U.K.'s defense ministry who believes UFOs are a national security threat.

You can watch the full video here (or you can see the MyPillow highlights later in this article):

Giuliani made sure to praise former President Trump, who for some reason included a demand the Pentagon release a report on UFOs in one of last year's pandemic relief packages.

But it was Lindell's MyPillow products that seemed to get Giuliani's most effusive praise. He seemed barely able to contain his excitement over Lindell's expansion into the slipper market.

Giuliani and Lindell have much more than a love of pillows and slippers in common.

They are both die-hard supporters of Donald Trump, both boosters of the former President's multiple conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and both believe sincerely—so it seems, at least—Democratic President Joe Biden is not really President despite almost 8 million more people voting for him and poll numbers that easily eclipsed Trump's.

Speaking of that conspiracy theory, the two share one other most unique similarity. They are both defendants in billion-dollar defamation lawsuits by Dominion Voting Systems, the voting software company they accused of helping Biden "cheat" his way into the White House.

Perhaps they're planning to share the profits from Giuliani's MyPillow ads to fund their legal defenses?

Whatever is going on here, Twitter had a field day with this deeply weird MyPillow ad.

We wish Giuliani luck in his new career as a MyPillow spokesman.

GOP Rep. Ousted From Chairmanship By Trump Calls Out Colleagues For Russian Propaganda In Resurfaced Clip

Speaking to anchor Jake Tapper on CNN last April, Ohio Republican Mike Turner said that Russian propaganda had "infected" the GOP in a clip that has resurfaced after President-elect Donald Trump had him ousted as House Intelligence Committee chair.

At the time, Turner made it clear that his fellow Republicans were parroting Russian propaganda about the war in Ukraine and its relationship with NATO members. That claim came after House Foreign Affairs Committee chair Michael McCaul, who said he thinks "Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base."
