The Rock Shares His Adorable Daughter's Favorite Handwashing Song With A Virus-Themed Version Of His 'Moana' Rap

One of the most important things to practice with our children right now is good hygiene and handwashing.

In Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's case, he came up with the perfect way to make his handwashing ritual with his daughter fun.

The CDC recommends washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. Many parents have taken to encouraging their children to sing the "Happy Birthday" song or to revisit their ABC's, to ensure they wash their hands for the required time.

Lucky for us, The Rock had a much more unique suggestion for his one-year-old daughter Tiana.

Most of Johnson's recent films have been family-oriented, including his role as the master of hijinks Maui in the hit animated film, Moana. Given the excellent soundtrack, it's no wonder he would wind up bringing some of his work home.

It's also no surprise that what appears to be her favorite song from the film would also be one performed by her father.

The Rock shared a video on Instagram with his little daughter sitting up on the counter next to the sink.

He captioned the video:

"Our sheltering at home, pre daddy's shower ritual."

He explained that he not only was raising a little fan of the Moana film, but that his song "You're Welcome" fit in perfectly with their pre-shower arrangement.

The Rock wrote:

"Before my showers now, Baby Tia (mama mia) demands I sing the rap portion of my song 'You're Welcome' from MOANA, while I wash her hands."
"We realized a few weeks ago that the rap portion of the song is perfect timing when getting your little ones to have fun washing their hands. Stay healthy and safe, my friends."

It's clear that little Tiana won't be wanting this ritual to change any time soon, either.

"And gotta love how at the start of this vid, baby Tia is like, 'just shut your mouth and sing daddy'"

Fans everywhere are melting from the father-daughter content.

This adorable video is such a great reminder not only to continue to take care of ourselves during this time, but when the opportunity presents itself we should also make it fun.

We would not be upset at all if The Rock shared a few more examples of his family's routine during lockdown.

For now, we have this video.

You can get Moana here.
