NBA Star Has Hilariously Relatable Reaction After Spotting 'Game Of Thrones' Star Courtside

Toronto Raptors star RJ Barrett had just made an impressive basket against the Lakers when he turned to the crowd and immediately spotted Jaime Lannister himself, actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The courtside seats at Los Angeles Lakers games have long been a hotspot for celebrities. Jack Nicholson had regular seats for decades, and everyone from Adele to Madonna has been spotted there over the years.

And it turns out that even NBA players themselves can get a little starstruck when playing against the Lakers, like during a recent game against the Toronto Raptors.

During the game last Sunday night, Raptors wing RJ Barrett had a true moment of shock when he saw one of his favorite TV stars sitting in the front row.

As Barrett approached the corner of the court to celebrate a successful and-1, he suddenly realized he was playing directly in front of none other than Game of Thrones' Jaime Lannister himself, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Barrett was so taken aback by the discovery that he did what a lot of us would probably have done—pointed directly at Coster-Waldau and bellowed, "Game of Thrones!"

The woman beside the Danish actor, possibly his wife, Greenlandic actress Nukaaka Coster-Waldau, definitely got a kick out of the interaction as well, laughing and pointing at Coster-Waldau as if to verify for Barrett that he was in fact seeing the TV star he thought he was.

Of course, we'd all like to think we'd keep our cool when meeting our heroes, but most of us are probably wrong! And the internet definitely got a kick out of Barrett starstruck moment.

Most of us will probably never meet our heroes, but if we do, may the interaction be as wholesomely hilarious as this one was.
