The actor shared a photo of his hotel room service with his silverware encased in red Jell-O, a reference to an infamous prank on 'The Office.'

Rainn Wilson took to Instagram last week to share a hilarious prank played on him at a hotel in Italy.

But don't go getting any ideas; he doesn't want this hysterical joke to go any further.

While staying at Plaza Hotel Lucchesi during a recent stay in Florence, Italy, the Office star received a clever surprise along with his room service: a delicious spread, complete with his silverware encased in Jell-O.

Wilson captioned his post:

"This is what happened when I ordered room service at my hotel in Florence… @plazahotellucchesi"

Of course, this in reference to the Office pilot in which Jim, played by John Krasinski, pranked Wilson's character Dwight by trapping his stapler in a Jell-O mold.

And though we all laughed and laughed, Wilson told People earlier this week that he hopes the trend does not continue.

“My fear is that I won’t be able to go anywhere without stuff being put in Jell-O."

He continued:

“I’ll go valet park, and then my car keys will be in Jell-O."
"And I’ll go to a baseball game, and the baseball will be in Jell-O. And the list goes on and on."
"So I hope people cool it with the Jell-O jokes. That’s all."

Wilson then joked:

"Unless it’s edible."
"I will eat my weight in Jell-O."

Regardless of Wilson's attitude toward the prank, though, fans thought it was an incredible stunt pulled off by the staff.

The Office's own Andy Bernard (Ed Helms) even responded:

"Haha!!! That is so wonderful and funny! ❤ 😂"
"I hope you left a giant tip (in jello!)!"

We all know Wilson loves that the show that ran for nine seasons "affected, touched, comforted and inspired" so many.

But no more Jell-O, okay?

For your viewing pleasure, we've included the stapler scene below.

TikToker Calls Out Parents For 'Abandoning' Kid In Stroller To Go On Ride At Disneyland

We can all agree that going to an amusement park is very expensive, and most of us would like to cram as much as we can into our visit to make the expense worth it.

That might mean splitting up for a little while so different people in the group can go on the rides they want to go on, and then catching up with each other and sharing our experiences later.
