Jen Psaki Expertly Buries Conservative Reporter For Peddling Bonkers Theory About Biden's Dog

Jen Psaki Expertly Buries Conservative Reporter For Peddling Bonkers Theory About Biden's Dog

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has gone viral once again. This time is for shutting down a reporter who suggested she was lying about biting incidents involving President Joe Biden's dog Major.

The interaction took place after the conservative group Judicial Watch released Secret Service emails revealing Major, the Bidens' 3-year-old German Shepherd, was involved in eight separate biting incidents.

A reporter for the Rupert Murdoch owned tabloid New York Post decided to run with that story.

You can hear what transpired in the video below.

The tabloid reporter asked:

"Yesterday the conservative transparency group Judicial Watch released Secret Service records of dog bites involving the First Dog, Major."
"One email said that Secret Service agents were bitten every single day for eight days from March 1 to March 8..."
"At a March 9 briefing, you [Psaki] only described one biting incident to us and described the dog as being 'whisked' back to Delaware on a pre-planned trip with family friends."
"Obviously, that is not the world's most important story. But it is significant because we expect honest information even for minor stories."
"So can you explain to us why there was some sort of misleading account presented to us?"
"If we can't get honest information about minor stories, why should we believe the administration's account for larger issues like Afghanistan?"

Psaki responded:

"I know you do keep the dog in the news in the briefing room, so thank you for that. As we've stated previously, Major has had some challenges adjusting to life in the White House."
"He has been receiving additional training as well as spending some time in Delaware where the environment is more familiar to him and he is more comfortable."
"I don't have any additional specifics but I think that speaks to where Major is located, to be fully transparent in your ongoing interest in the dog."

Did you expect a question about Afghanistan?

How about Covid? Or even Hurricane Ida?

Many criticized The New York Post's reporting.

Judicial Watch obtained the information after it filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security.

The organization, founded by right-wing conspiracy theorist Larry Klayman, is known to primarily target Democrats.

Over the years, it has promoted numerous false and unsubstantiated claims that have become popular items on right-wing news outlets, including former President Donald Trump's "Big Lie" the 2020 election was stolen.

In the last few days, stories about Biden's dog have been among the top news items on popular right-wing sites such as Fox News, The Washington Times, and The Federalist.

White House Ripped After Making Bonkers Earth Day Claim About Trump And 'Science'

President Donald Trump is a pretty well-known science denier so it's perhaps no surprise that the White House was soundly mocked after sharing a press release for Earth Day on Tuesday claiming that "We Finally Have a President Who Follows Science"—which is quite something given so many federal workers from health and science agencies have been fired in recent weeks.

The White House claimed that Trump is "leveraging environmental policies rooted in reality to promote economic growth while maintaining the standards that have afforded Americans the cleanest air and water in the world for generations."

RFK Jr.'s Bizarre Claim About Testosterone And Sperm Count In Teen Boys Leaves Even Jesse Watters Puzzled

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had even Fox News host Jesse Watters baffled after claiming during an appearance on Watters' program that testosterone levels and sperm count in teen boys are lower than the levels seen in 68-year-old men.

Kennedy—who is 71—made the claim during a conversation about the government’s plans to ban eight common artificial food dyes by year’s end. After outlining his push to combat chronic disease and listing a range of health problems affecting Americans, he shifted focus to male fertility, which made things very, very weird.
