Jen Psaki Drags Fox News Reporter For Suggesting Pregnant Migrant Women Are A 'Big Threat'

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Fox News reporter Peter Doocy clashed once again during a press briefing, this time over the matter of migrants crossing the nation's southern border.

While many migrants are currently held in cusody, many are being sent back to their respective countries on expulsion flights.

Doocy, the son of Fox News personality Peter Doocy, disagreed however, and things took an awkward turn when he appeared to suggest that pregnant migrant women pose a "big threat" to the nation's security.

You can watch what happened in the video below.

Doocy began by suggesting that migrant women could be lying about being pregnant:

"We're being told by our people on the ground that you're releasing pretty much all family units."
"Couples where the woman says that she is pregnant, or single women who say that they are pregnant and that no one has to actually take a pregnancy test unless they want to, so..."

To that, Psaki responded:

"Are you suggesting that you don't believe when women say they're pregnant? Is that a big issue? We think at the border?"

And when Doocy retorted that he is not the one "in charge of keeping the border secure," she repeated her question:

"Do you think pregnant women are posing a big threat to the border? To the border communities — is that a big issue?"

Not done there, Psaki continued by pointing out that there is indeed a "process" to entering the country and that there are explicit guidelines under Title 42 regarding the expulsions of persons who have recently been in a country where a communicable disease was present.

"I'm not aware of pregnant women being a big issue of concern to people at the border. What I will note for you, Peter, is that, as I said earlier, there is a process."
"People cannot be expelled under Title 42 for a range of reasons."
"Some of that is that countries they came from or other countries, including Mexico, may not be accepting families with children under the age of seven."
"They are placed in removal proceedings."
"Those removal proceedings require them to either go to a detention facility or require them to go get a notice to appear and including their biometric data and otherwise so that we can ensure where they are."

Doocy was criticized for anti-immigration bias, with other social media users suggesting he is simply threatened by women entirely.

Psaki is no stranger to Doocy's pointed questions.

Last month, she shut down Doocy after he suggested that former President Barack Obama is a "super spreader" and not following Covid-19 guidelines.

She also recently took Doocy to task for suggesting she was lying about biting incidents involving President Joe Biden's dog, Major.

Interactions between Psaki and Doocy have become so well known that they're responsible for the popular #PsakiBomb hashtag, and it's safe to say their latest exchange is another one for the books.

Karoline Leavitt Gives Bonkers Excuse After Trump Is Spotted With Massive Bruise On His Left Hand

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was called out after she gave a dubious excuse for what happened to President Donald Trump after he was spotted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday with a large bruise on his left hand.

Last year, rumors swirled that Trump was on his deathbed after he wasn't seen for several days and the White House cancelled his public appearances, a development that fueled speculation in large part because of Trump's recent health problems, which include a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency and sightings of a harsh bruise on his right hand.
