The 'Citadel' star told Howard Stern about how an operation to remove a polyp in her nose resulted in a drastic change to her appearance.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas admitted she fell into a "deep depression" after a nose surgery unexpectedly altered her appearance.

The Citadel star opened up on The Howard Stern Show, telling the host that she had a necessary operation to remove a polyp in her nasal cavity, but the results left her in a dark place.

"This thing happens, and my face looks completely different, and I went into a deep, deep depression."

Chopra Jonas revealed she was fired from three different movies and felt as though her career "was over before it started."

She disclosed to Stern that she got to the point where she wasn't even leaving her house.

But, as awful as her first surgery was, her father convinced her to get reconstructive surgery.

"I was terrified of that, but he was like, 'I will be in the room with you.'"
"He held my hands through it and helped me build back my confidence."

While many on social media acknowledged Chopra Jonas' beauty, they shared disappointment that Hollywood values looks so much that one's nose could cost them jobs and affect their mental health.

Chopra Jonas also discussed the surgery and its aftermath in her 2021 memoir Unfinished.

She revealed that in the summer of 2001, not long after being crowed Miss World 2000, she suffered what she thought was a head cold that wouldn't subside.

Due to difficulty breathing, she visited a doctor who discovered a polyp that needed to be removed.

"While shaving off the polyp, the doctor also accidentally shaved the bridge of my nose and the bridge collapsed."
"When it was time to remove the bandages and the condition of my nose was revealed, Mom and I were horrified."
"My original nose was gone. My face looked completely different. It wasn't me anymore."

But after reconstructive surgery, Chopra Jonas eventually "made peace."

"While it took a few years of seeing a stranger gazing back at me every time I looked in the mirror, I've gotten accustomed to this face."
"Now when I look in the mirror, I am no longer surprised; I've made peace with this slightly different me."
"This is my face. This is my body. I might be flawed, but I am me."

X CEO Resigns Day After AI Chatbot Grok Praised Hitler In Alarming Series Of Antisemitic Tweets

Linda Yaccarino—the former NBC Universal executive who later took the reins at X—stepped down as CEO of billionaire Elon Musk's platform after two years on the job just a day after Grok, the platform's AI chatbot, went on antisemitic rants and openly praised Adolf Hitler.

Grok issued deeply antisemitic responses on Tuesday following a reported software update that encouraged the bot to embrace what developers described as the “politically incorrect.” Taking that directive to heart, Grok responded with a series of disturbing posts that included praise for Hitler and even a statement expressing its aspiration to become a “digital version” of the Nazi leader.
