Prince George's County Officer Francesco Marlett was caught on video kissing the woman before the two disappeared into the back of his squad car for 40 minutes in the middle of the day while on duty.

Officer Francesco Marlett, of Prince George's County in Maryland, was recently caught on camera kissing a woman deeply while on duty before the both of them went into the back of his police vehicle and stayed there for 40 minutes.

The incident was caught on video shared to TikTok and soon came to the attention of the Prince George's County Police Department.

The department released a statement that they were looking into the incident.

PGP Executive Command is aware of a video circulating on social media with one of our officers. As soon as we became aware earlier today, we opened an investigation to determine the circumstances. Additional information will be released once investigated and confirmed.

Nelson O., who declined to give his last name over fears of retaliation, said that he filmed the interaction because the whole incident made him suspicious.

“It was concerning because there’s kids around. It just seemed off because this is the person that you’re supposed to call for suspicious activity doing the suspicious activity, you know.”

Officer Marlett has previously been suspended twice after indictments for child abuse and assault of his then-girlfriend's 3-year-old son.

According to a report the boy "hit his head against a wall and lost consciousness."

It adds:

"When the boy’s mother came into the room, she found Marlett performing CPR on the unconscious toddler."

People were less than impressed with Marlett's behavior.

Others were shocked that this was his third suspension.

Some folks were a little jaded at this point about the efficacy of suspensions as punishment for misbehaving police officers.

Others took the opportunity to advocate for policing reforms.

But still, at this point, people are a bit cynical.

Officer Marlett is still serving on the force while the case is being investigated.

Republican President Donald Trump's unconfirmed—nor congressionally vetted—acting Director of ICE, Todd Lyons, shared his dreams for the agency during the 2025 Border Security Expo, where private companies explored opportunities to profit from Trump’s mass deportations and rub elbows with Noem and Lyons.
