Fox News host Jeanine Pirro couldn't deal with President Joe Biden saying people should "show some respect" to flight attendants. Pirro went on an on-air rant in response.

The President said during a press conference from the White House:

"If you break the rules, be prepared to pay. And by the way, show some respect. The anger you see on television toward flight attendants and others doing their job is wrong. It's ugly."

This chastisement came during a press conference to announce broad new vaccination and testing mandates designed to help curb the spread of the pandemic.

Pirro couldn't abide the President's call for respect and decency to service industry workers, however.

During a segment on Fox News, Pirro launched into a diatribe on how flight attendants should respect passengers.

"Maybe some of the flight attendants ought to show some respect to us, OK?"

She even came up with a bizarre hypothetical situation to try to prove her point, accusing flight attendants of abusing their "power" during flights.

"If you're trying to feed a 2-year-old yogurt without a mask on and they decide to throw the mother off..."
"I mean, I could go on and on about the absurdity of people who don't have power, who are suddenly engaged and have power, and then they abuse it."

You can view a clip of Pirro's bizarre rant in the tweet below:

People on Twitter were highly critical of her rant.

A few people questioned why the mother in Pirro's hypothetical example would need to remove her mask to feed her child at all.

Several people pointed out flight attendants are much more than waitstaff in the air.

They serve multiple vital roles on flights.

Perhaps if people like Pirro put a fraction of the effort into curbing the pandemic as they do into complaining about public health protocols, Covid-19 would be under control.
