PHOTOS: Prototypes For Trump's Border Wall

With just over a week away from the deadline for Trump's border wall prototypes to be completed, design specifications have been released awaiting the president's approval. Check out the photos of the prototypes here.

The prototypes, designed and built by competing construction firms, have been under construction in San Diego since the end of September, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).

Here are some photos of the contenders that have been shared on Twitter:

You can catch a glimpse a few more from these aerial photos:

Trump has been gleefully keeping tabs on the prototypes' construction, as he excitedly shared this video on Twitter Tuesday:

Here are a few more photos, just to give you the complete picture:

Each of the eight prototypes costs taxpayers around $500,000.

But, even with all of these choices, Twitter doesn't seem convinced that they'll do much good at all:

The CBP thinks they'll do the trick, however.

"These concrete prototypes will serve two important ends," a CBP spokesperson said. "First, given their robust physical characteristics, like reinforced concrete, between 18-30 feet high, the concrete border wall prototypes are designed to deter illegal crossings in the area in which they are constructed."

"Second, the concrete border wall prototypes will allow CBP to evaluate the potential for new wall and barrier designs that could complement the wall and barrier designs we have used along the border over the last several years. As the border security environment continues to evolve, CBP will continually refresh its own inventory of tools to meet that evolution."

All that being said, once Trump picks his favorite, he still needs budget approval from Congress.

The manosphere is defined as a "varied collection of websites, blogs, podcasts, and online forums by men and for men often promoting masculinity, misogyny, and opposition to feminism. Communities within it include men's rights activists, incels, Men Going Their Own Way, pick-up artists, and fathers' rights groups."

Sarah Michelle Gellar? More like "Sarah Dead Gellar."
