Even if you don't enjoy the thrill of being scared, you remember the horror film that frightened the hell out of you as a child.

Today's burning question came from Redditor xXMr_BaconXx, who asked the online community the following question: "What movie did you see when you were "too young" that scarred you for life?"

Some of you can relate, we're sure. And if you can't, better add some of these to your watchlists!

"My young mind was not ready for that movie."

The Fly (1986)

My young mind was not ready for that movie.

"But I think it's mostly due..."

Giphy

Jeepers Creepers. But I think it's mostly due to the fact that my older brother convinced me it was based on true events.

"I didn't sleep for an entire summer..."

Giphy

I snuck in to see The Exorcist when I was 12. I didn't sleep for an entire summer. One morning, about 6am, a woodpecker or some bird got into our attic and was pecking and flying back and forth. I woke up my younger brother and sister, made them come with me to the attic door. I made them hold hands with me and say the Our Father. I was out of my mind.

"I still get a little freaked..."

Giphy

Pet Cemetery. I still get a little freaked when getting out of bed in the middle of night for fear a crazy undead child will slice my Achilles with a knife.

"That movie messed me up..."

Giphy

The Hills Have Eyes. That movie messed me up for a long time.

"I was around 8..."

Giphy

I was around 8 when I tried seeing the first Aliens movie. That first chest burster scared the shit out of me.

ExtremEnder

"I was around 7 or 8 at the time..."

Giphy

The Ring. I was around 7 or 8 at the time and had never watched a scary movie before. Anyways made it to the end of the movie completely sh!tting myself. Used to sleep in my clothes, pee in jars and hide them in a drawer to avoid going to the bathroom late at night, if I was brave enough to make it to the bathroom I would sleep on the floor. Had an old tv in my room at the time that I would cover at night with a blanket lol this went on for easily a year then I started to get over the fear decided I was gonna watch tv one night flicking through the channels and what do i see? The Ring 2

So yeah seeing wells or TV static still sends a chill down my spine.

"I will never be old enough..."

I will never be old enough to rewatch Requiem for a Dream.

ironwillow

"No idea why my dad..."

Giphy

Pans Labyrinth. No idea why my dad thought a 10 yr old would appreciate a foreign language art film, but that freaking creepy guy with the damn eyeballs in his freaking hands still haunts my nightmares.

Macramelon

"Even as an adult

Giphy

The first half of Stephen King's IT when I was 8 has scarred me for life. Even as an adult, I know that the film was laughably bad in effects, but I can't be near a clown without fight or flight triggering.

RockClimbNFool

"Weeks and weeks of nightmares..."

Giphy

Poltergeist.

Weeks and weeks of nightmares centered around that thing that honestly looks like it was made from paper mache, and the skeletons. I was goddamned terrified of skeletons as a child.

MindMausoleum

"I was 25."

Giphy

Watership Down ... I was 25.

OSUBeavBane

"...I could imagine The Blob coming after me..."

Giphy

The Blob (the 1988 remake); saw it at a sleepover when I was 10 or so.

For weeks and weeks afterwards, whenever I took a shower, I could imagine The Blob coming after me through the shower head or the faucet.

leaflitterer

"NO."

Giphy

EVENT HORIZON. Rented it from the ol' video store back in the day because it had Sam Neill in it. He was in Jurassic Park, should be a fun time, right? NO. F*ck me. Still gives me the willies.

MelGibsonsButt

"Did not sleep well after that."

Giphy

Watched A Clockwork Orange when I was about 10, with my dad.

Did not sleep well after that.

MAGA Fan Has Unhinged Meltdown After Starbucks Barista Doesn't Call Out 'Charlie Kirk' With Her Order

For anyone who isn't familiar with Starbucks ordering protocol, the cashier will ask for a name to put on the cup.

When the order is done, the barista will call out the name on the cup to let the customer know their order is ready. However, if there aren't many people in the store, it's not uncommon for a person to just have their drink handed to them or brought to their table if they're seated.

Melania Trump Dragged After Sharing Bizarre AI 'Teleportation' Video

First Lady Melania Trump was mocked after she retweeted a bizarre AI-generated video that shows her teleporting into a building with the caption "Into The Future."

The video was first shared by the X account @MelaniaMeme. In it, the digital Mrs. Trump appears to teleport into a high-rise—likely Trump Tower—with a glittering cityscape in the background. She steps forward, looks directly into the camera, glances down, then back up again, without uttering a word.

Bad Bunny Hilariously Trolls Fox News Over Their Super Bowl Outrage In 'SNL' Season Opener

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny took aim at Fox News and the conservative outrage over his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show during the season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, joking that all of his critics have "four months to learn" Spanish if they're that bothered about him singing in his native tongue during football's biggest night.

Bad Bunny will be the first Latin male artist to headline the halftime show, but many of President Donald Trump's supporters have vowed to boycott the event. At least one far-right figure said Bad Bunny "will just further divide the American people" and suggested that either the right-wing performers Kid Rock or Jason Aldean should headline the show instead.
