The 'Last of Us' star had a short but memorable turn as Eddie in the premiere episode of the show's 4th season.

Sarah Michell Gellar took a moment out of her very busy schedule last week to remind the world that Pedro Pascal was once on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

The Wolf Pack actor and executive producer took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of her and Pascal from Buffy's season 4 episode titled "The Freshman" which aired in 1999.

You can see the photo below.

She appropriately captioned the post:

"When #Mother met #Father."

Pascal has been dubbed as the internet's daddy, you know given his surrogatesque fatherly roles in both The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.

And Gellar herself is embracing her newfound title as "mother," about which she was recently educated.

In the Buffy episode, Pascal played Eddie, who we must say had quite the on-screen chemistry with the vampire slayer.

But alas, he was turned into a vampire and his potential love interest had to go stakin' his heart.

Of course, viewers of Gellar's Instagram post would have loved for things to turn out a little differently, some even fantasizing about a romantic Last of Us crossover episode.

But the unfortunate outcome was that - for the sake of all mankind - Buffy had to eliminate Eddie. And though his time on the cult classic was limited to just the one episode, Gellar's hospitality made a lasting impression on the one that got a-slayed.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Pascal was enlightened about the resurfacing of some of his previous TV show appearances. When ET's Ash Crossan began to list them, she mentioned that SMG posted about him.

Before Crossan could even utter the next show on the list, Pascal interjected:

"Sarah Michelle Gellar posted about me?!"

Even though Crossan attempted to move on, Pascal was stuck on Gellar's Instagram post. Crossan eventually pulled it up for him on her phone.

Pascal shared he remembered "everything" about that night on set, noting Gellar's incredible kindness:

"I remember she had ice cream in her trailer, and she gave me some. She went back to her trailer, she got me some ice cream and she shared 'cause it was a night shoot, it was in the middle of the night, and we were on the UCLA campus. They hadn't built their college sets yet."

He revealed that he had to miss the opening night of a play he was performing in to make the shoot for his 3-ish minutes in the episode.

He finished:

"I remember everything. I could go on and on and on. I could give you step by step, every detail. I had to have lunch in the vamp mask and vamp face."
"And she was incredibly kind. She taught me how to use a sandbag to hit my mark."
"She was the best."

You can watch the adorable moment below.

Viewers of the interview loved Pascal's kind confession.

Even nearly two and a half decades ago, Gellar had everyone's best interests at heart, just as she does now.

Being not only an actor but also executive producer on Wolf Pack was a priority for Gellar in order for her to ensure the well-being of the young cast, mostly aged 19 to 21 years old.

She recently told The Hollywood Reporter:

"I hope that I've set up an infrastructure, a safety net for these actors that I didn't have."
"My generation just didn't have that."

You can catch Wolf Pack on Paramount+ and The Last of Us on HBO. We'll secretly be hoping for a Buffy appearance in the latter.

Model Accuses Fashion Brand Of Using AI To Recreate Her Looks For Ad Instead Of Hiring Her

There used to be laws in place for someone's likeness being used without their consent, and most certainly if their likeness was being used in an exploitative way for profit.
