The ageless 'Ant-Man' star's secret is surprisingly simple.

People have been searching for a cure for getting old since the beginning of humanity. We all wish we could stay young and healthy forever, but science just hasn't figured it out yet.

But Paul Rudd clearly has.

If you've seen the 53 year-old actor, you know that he definitely doesn't look his age. Luckily for us, Rudd is finally willing to spill his secret.

In a recent interview, Rudd talked about how the most important part of his routine for staying young is sleep.

“Then diet. Then weights. Then cardio. People ask me, ‘Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? They’re doing themselves a disservice. If you can somehow get eight hours of sleep …”

Seems easy, right?

The internet wasn't sold, though, on Rudd's explanation for his looks. There was a lot of speculation on how he looks so young and none of it involved sleep.

Others pointed out that getting a full night's sleep is not as easy as it sounds.

It's true that the average person doesn't get enough sleep. If Rudd is any example of what more shuteye can do for you, we really should be prioritizing it.
