Christmas is usually a time when politicians send apolitical Christmas holiday wishes and seasons greetings.

That was not the case for Republican Congressman Rep. Paul Gosar, however, who took the opportunity on Christmas Eve to share an old video of Hillary Clinton almost getting taken out by lighting equipment during a 1992 60 Minutes interview.

His caption:

Remember the reason for the season! #MerryChristmas

Classy.

People were quick to call him out.

And to remind the Congressman that in 2018, members of his family had made a point of publicly endorsing his opponent.

Ah memories.

Chelsea Clinton weighed in with a different take on the video: that it serves as a reminder of Bill Clinton's "quick reflexes."

Others agreed that Gosar's post just made them remember what they loved about Bill Clinton.

Better luck next time, Congressman.
