Pat Robertson Calls on God to 'Intervene' in the Election to Keep Trump President in Bonkers Rant

Pat Robertson Calls on God to 'Intervene' in the Election to Keep Trump President in Bonkers Rant

Televangelist Pat Robertson has sounded off on outgoing President Donald Trump's efforts to undo the results of the 2020 election, which Trump lost to President-elect Joe Biden.

Many of Trump's allies are placing their hopes in a baseless suit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against four swing states, which has been filed with the Supreme Court.

Still under the collective delusion that widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the election to Biden, Robertson embarked on a bizarre rant in which he implored God to help Trump overturn the will of the American people.

Watch below.

Robertson said:

"This is too important in the history of the world, and we as his servants must declare we are not going to let this happen, we are going to declare in the name of the lord that this fraud will be exposed. ... we have got to declare it, in the name of the Lord, to say we declare in Jesus' name, this fraud will not stand and it will be exposed and that the Lord himself will intervene before this country turns into something socialist.""

After listing debunked conspiracy theories that the election was illegitimate, Robertson said:

"In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of delusion that has come across our land. We will not surrender our nation. We will not give up this great country. And Satan, you cannot have it. In the name of Jesus. And I began to pray, and I believe God has heard. And I'm asking everybody in this audience to pray. It isn't over yet."

The rant came just weeks after Robertson said God told him Trump would win and usher in the end times.

Like many of Robertson's takes on politics, the diatribe was largely mocked across the internet.

Robertson later said the Texas lawsuit before the Supreme Court is "a miracle" but experts think it's unlikely to result in anything other than a dismissal.

Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th.
