Televangelist Pat Robertson has sounded off on outgoing President Donald Trump's efforts to undo the results of the 2020 election, which Trump lost to President-elect Joe Biden.
Many of Trump's allies are placing their hopes in a baseless suit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against four swing states, which has been filed with the Supreme Court.
Still under the collective delusion that widespread voter fraud coordinated by Democrats tipped the election to Biden, Robertson embarked on a bizarre rant in which he implored God to help Trump overturn the will of the American people.

Robertson said:
"This is too important in the history of the world, and we as his servants must declare we are not going to let this happen, we are going to declare in the name of the lord that this fraud will be exposed. ... we have got to declare it, in the name of the Lord, to say we declare in Jesus' name, this fraud will not stand and it will be exposed and that the Lord himself will intervene before this country turns into something socialist.""
After listing debunked conspiracy theories that the election was illegitimate, Robertson said:
"In the name of Jesus, I bind the spirit of delusion that has come across our land. We will not surrender our nation. We will not give up this great country. And Satan, you cannot have it. In the name of Jesus. And I began to pray, and I believe God has heard. And I'm asking everybody in this audience to pray. It isn't over yet."
The rant came just weeks after Robertson said God told him Trump would win and usher in the end times.
Like many of Robertson's takes on politics, the diatribe was largely mocked across the internet.
Pat Robertson played the Jesus card today and demanded the Lord overturn the election in the name of Trump.
Wouldn't that be the ultimate voter fraud since God has no specific address and never registered?

For Christ's sake Pat, bugger off and STFU.

Declare it in the name of the lord? Is there no depth these people won't sink to trying to overthrow our election and keep control? This is truly sad and I hope you don't fall for it. #maga #WWG1WA #DumpTrump2020 #NeverTrump #KAG2020 #Resist #qanon https://t.co/ZE8BsNkihU

Robertson later said the Texas lawsuit before the Supreme Court is "a miracle" but experts think it's unlikely to result in anything other than a dismissal.
Texas lawmakers on the Texas lawsuit:
Sen. John Cornyn: "I frankly struggle to understand the legal theory of it."
Rep. Kay Granger: “I'm not supporting it...It's a distraction."
Rep. Chip Roy: "I believe the case itself represents a dangerous violation of federalism."

One way to think about the Texas/Trump lawsuit:
If it were to succeed it would immediately plunge the nation into its worst constitutional crisis since *at least* 1876 and arguably since secession.

This Texas lawsuit joined by seditious attorneys general is not a long-shot. It's got no shot

The Texas lawsuit has several problems that doom it:
It asks to push back the electoral vote in 4 states, which would be unconstitutional.
Texas has no legal right to claim that officials elsewhere didn't follow the rules those states designed.https://t.co/63pNk4053C

Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th.
