The Apprentice star allegedly kept tabs on private discussion by recording them.

As the reality TV personality prepares for her exit from the White House on Saturday, her departure from the Oval Office will not be a silent exit.

According to the New York Daily News, Omarosa Manigault Newman may have recorded private conversations for fear of being associated with Robert Mueller's probe into the Russia investigation.

A White House source told the newspaper that The Apprentice star frequently used a recording app on her smartphone.

Everyone knows Omarosa loves to record people and meetings using the voice notes app on her iPhone. Don't be surprised if she has secret audio files on everyone in that White House, past and present staffers included.

Omarosa's penchant for clicking on the record button, in addition to Michael Wolff's incendiary expose Fire and Fury, is what prompted the recent ban of smart phones and other recording devices inside the White House.

But the injunction might've come too late.

Another insider claimed that Manigault Newman doesn't have any recordings of significance relevant to Mueller's probe. But her fears of being a part of the investigation didn't stop her from meeting with lawyers, according to the source.

The soon-to-be former assistant to President Trump and director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison has held exploratory meetings with several high profile attorneys for potential representation.

Her fears of becoming associated with the probe led her to meet with Harvey Weinstein's former attorney Lisa Bloom and former Bill Cosby lawyer Monique Pressley.

One Twitter user offered a theory behind Omarosa's fear.

She may not be America's sweetheart, but Twitter is hopeful Omarosa has some corroborative gossip in her files.

Manigault Newman allegedly had to be dragged out of the White House kicking and screaming after refusing to believe Mr. Trump fired her, but an official report claimed she resigned "to pursue other opportunities."

After shouting some choice words and profanities when chief of staff John Kelly officially dismissed her back in December, the fired aide tried to storm into Trump's residence to speak to her boss.

But according to April Ryan, White House bureau chief for American Urban Radio Networks, she was physically prevented from doing so, and that Gen. Kelly "alleged to have said that this is not like going to the principal's office."
