A woman in the town of Piqua, Ohio, has been fighting the city on a decoration in her front yard.
Originally for Halloween, it's a 9-foot-tall statue of a werewolf.
In this argument, the statue has been called "a blight" by city officials, but locals and folks on the internet have rallied to this homeowner's side. What happens on your lawn is your business.
Even if it's a 9-feet of ripped-abs lycanthrope.

It would probably be for the best if the city let it go.

Others shared their own, or their neighbors', examples of similar lawn pieces.

“@coolmom42069 @nameshiv Near Olympia, WA someone carved a giant phallus out of a tree stump in their front yard. When someone complained, dude stuck an American flag into the tip. Story was in the local paper.”— intrusive thot (@intrusive thot) 1686673801
People have skirted their own city or HOA rules about "holiday" decorations by simply dressing up their decorations for each holiday.
The werewolf in question is currently bedecked in Independence Day finery.
“@coolmom42069 We have the same thing in my town. The owners were told that they can only leave holiday decorations up for 16 days past the holiday so now they dress the werewolf up for every single holiday and the wolf stays up.”— intrusive thot (@intrusive thot) 1686673801
“he was not previously wearing this outfit but the city called him a "seasonal" decoration so she dressed him up for the fourth of july. stay tuned for updates on patriotic werewolf”— intrusive thot (@intrusive thot) 1686673801

“@coolmom42069 Someone in our neighborhood has been keeping their massive skeleton up all year and decorating it for holidays. At Christmas it was holding up the star with a nativity scene underneath. Currently it has an inner tube and floaties on. I love it!”— intrusive thot (@intrusive thot) 1686673801
It's probably good she's not in a HOA, though.
