President Donald Trump delivered his State of the Union address on Tuesday evening, just one day before Senate Republicans voted to acquit him in his impeachment trial.

With the wounds of the impeachment inquiry spurred by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) still fresh, Trump didn't shake Pelosi's hand when she extended it at the beginning of his speech—a gesture many took to be deliberate.

Pelosi shared an image of the moment on Twitter.

Meanwhile, another image of a former President was making waves on Instagram.

President Barack Obama's White House photographer, Pete Souza, is no stranger to trolling Trump with the contrasts between the current President and his predecessor.

The State of the Union snafu was no different.

Souza shared a picture of Obama at his State of the Union address, shaking the hand of Republican former House Speaker John Boehner.

Souza captioned with a question:

"How hard is this?"

And people didn't hesitate to answer.

During his tenure as Speaker of the House, Boehner said Obama was acting like an "emperor" and that he was "disrespectful." He called for the House to sue Obama before he retired from the House in October 2015 citing lack of support from the GOP.

At the end of Boehner's term, Obama said to Boehner:

"Man, I'm gonna miss you."

The President even created a video for his last White House Correspondents dinner that featured Boehner giving him advice about retirement.

It's possible for some people to be presidential instead of perpetually petty. In November 2020, voters get to make that choice.

JD Vance Dragged After He's Caught Overtly Lying About High Egg Prices In Cringey Video

Former President Donald Trump's running mate J.D. Vance was widely mocked after he claimed at a grocery store that the price of a dozen eggs is now around $4 due to Vice President Kamala Harris's policies—only for viewers to notice lower price tags directly behind him.

Vance blamed her for her tie-breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which seeks to reduce the federal budget deficit, lower prescription drug costs, and invest in domestic energy production, all while advancing clean energy initiatives.
