Laura Ingraham Gets Roasted After Her Desperate Attempt to Rebut Nancy Pelosi's 'Bribery' Accusation Against Donald Trump

Laura Ingraham Gets Roasted After Her Desperate Attempt to Rebut Nancy Pelosi's 'Bribery' Accusation Against Donald Trump
Fox News

She's kidding, right?

One of President Donald Trump's most ardent supporters, far-Right Fox News host Laura Ingraham, continues to defend the President's withholding of congressionally approved military aid to Ukraine in exchange for its President publicly declaring an investigation into Trump's political rival, former Vice President Joe Biden.

The defenses are getting more and more ridiculous.

In a recent segment, Ingraham pointed out that, while bribery is forbidden in the Constitution, attempted bribery isn't mentioned. Since Ukraine got the aid without publicly declaring the investigation, Ingraham asserts, all's well that ends well.

Watch below.

Ingraham said:

“The president may be impeached for bribery, treason, or high crimes and misdemeanors. But even assuming the Democrats strained and ridiculous interpretation of the facts … attempted bribery isn't in the Constitution."

In reality, the aid was granted only after Congress began to scrutinize the reasons it was being withheld.

What's more, former U.S. attorney Joyce Vance pointed out that Ingraham's assertions about the law weren't even correct.

Others agreed.

People were flabbergasted by the latest Republican defense of the President's actions.

The public impeachment hearings continue today with the testimony of Marie Yovanovitch, the former Ambassador to Ukraine.

American YouTuber Arrested After Sneaking Onto Remote Island And Leaving Diet Coke For Uncontacted Tribe

24-year-old YouTuber Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov was arrested after making contact with one of the world's last uncontacted tribes, making the perilous and ill-advised journey to North Sentinel Island and leaving a coconut and a can of Diet Coke on the beach as a gift to the Sentinelese.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one. He then climbed ashore, leaving behind a Diet Coke and a coconut, took sand samples, and recorded a video, the authorities said.
