Elon Musk Predictably Lashes Out Over Dana Carvey's Mocking Impression Of Him On 'SNL'

Musk was not impressed with the SNL alum's impression of his bizarre antics—and he took to X in a series of tweets to voice his displeasure.

Billionaire Elon Musk predictably lashed out at Saturday Night Live after comedian and SNL alum Dana Carvey returned to the show with a mocking impression of Musk and his now regularly-memed antics at a Trump rally last month.

Musk jumped awkwardly behind then-candidate Donald Trump at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the same area where Trump survived an assassination attempt in July.

Musk's antics proved so weird and ridiculous that Vice President Kamala Harris's running mate Tim Walz jokingly referred to Musk as Trump's "running mate" and said Musk was "on that stage jumping around, skipping like a dips**t," referencing the viral moment.

That moment also provided fodder for the cast of SNL, who mocked their anti-Trump stance in their first post-election episode by pretending they'd supported the president-elect this entire time.

Carvey appeared later during the cold open as Musk, wearing a black MAGA hat that brought to mind the one Musk wore during Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally late last month, where he referred to himself as “dark, gothic MAGA.”

Carvey as Musk said:

“Check it out, dark MAGA. Yeah! But seriously, I run the country now. America’s going to be like one of my rockets that’s super cool and super fun. But there’s a slight chance it could blow up, and everybody dies.”

You can watch the moment in the video below.

An annoyed Musk spent time responding to posts on X that referenced the cold open, telling one user:

"SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality. Their last-ditch effort to cheat the equal airtime requirements and prop up Kamala before the election only helped sink her campaign further."

Musk’s remark referenced Harris’s appearance on SNL last week, which Brendan Carr, a Republican FCC commissioner, argued was “a clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC’s Equal Time rule.” This rule mandates that broadcasters provide comparable airtime to opposing candidates.

However, as The Hollywood Reporter noted, an FCC representative clarified that Carr’s statement did not reflect the agency’s official stance, stating that they “have not made any determination regarding political programming rules, nor have we received a complaint from any interested parties.”

Musk also dismissed Carvey's impression, saying Carvey "just sounds like Dana Carvey."

And in yet another post, he asserted that the SNL cast is "so mad that [Donald Trump] won."

But people could see how much the skit bothered Musk and proceeded to mock him mercilessly.

Buckle up, Musk, there will be plenty of impressions of you over the next four years.

Trump's Border Czar Ripped For Hypocrisy After Telling Pope Leo To 'Stay Out Of Politics'

President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan was called out for hypocrisy after telling Pope Leo XIV to "stay out of politics" after he clashed with Trump over the widely unpopular war in Iran.

Last week, Pope Leo criticized the war and called on the world "to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate and is not resolving anything."

A new biography of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. brought another incident with a dead animal to public light just as he was testifying on Capitol Hill this week.
