Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG), a Republican House Representative for Georgia, has a long history of problematic opinions. From blatant homophobia and transphobia to a callous disregard for human life, MTG seems to be on the wrong side of most any issue.

Recently, the court case of Kyle Rittenhouse, the man accused of murdering a mentally ill homeless man and a proteste in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year, has taken up a lot of media coverage.

The Georgia GOP Representative weighed in with her opinion.

In the above tweet, MTG makes a strange defense of the online criticism of Rittenhouse's tearless crying. Most felt the sobs were insincere, but MTG thought a different issue was at play.

Instead, she tried to defend his manhood by making a comparison of Rittenhouse to people "that claim He/Him in their profiles," to insult those who offer up their pronouns in their Twitter profiles.

She also accuses the same pundits and "blue checkmarks"—a reference to profiles whose identity has been verified on Twitter, much like MTG herself—of defending a sexual predator, though it's vague who she's referring to. Many felt that was ironic coming from someone who is good friends with Representative Matt Gaetz who faces credible accusations of sex trafficking of a minor.

The tweet itself is a strange mishmash of culture war topics and right-wing buzzwords.

Rittenhouse is on trial for the murders of Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony M. Huber and severely injuring Gaige Grosskreutz. The story made headlines during the height of the protests against police brutality last year and the right have made it a culture war issue.

The situation was particularly surprising as Rittenhouse—17 at the time—traveled across state lines with his mother and an illegally obtained AR-15 rifle. After the incident witnessed by many, Rittenhouse was allowed to walk past police with the murder weapon and go home, leading to criticisms of the Kenosha police force.

Politicians on the right are hailing Rittenhouse a hero. The MAGA minions see the man as a lightning rod for "owning the libs."

And that's all they need to support an alleged double murderer.

At time of writing, the verdict on the case has yet to be announced.

The case made waves as the judge told the prosecution they weren't allowed to call the victims of Rittenhouse "victims," a surprisingly standard procedure for even self-defense cases. However, he did permit them to be called "arsonists" or "looters" much to the chagrin of the prosecution.
