Also known for his film, TV and game reviews The Usual Suspect seems to love all things pop-culture and has created a number of other similar mashups for different tracks.
For "Paper Planes" he grabbed clips from classic movies like The Silence of the Lambs, Jumanji, Shrek, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Thor: Ragnarok, Pulp Fiction, Home Alone and a couple hundred others to sing the lyrics and also found the perfect samples for the song's cash register and gunshot hook.
The only thing crazier than the mash up is imagining how long it must have taken to put it all together.
After only a couple of days up on YouTube the video is already skyrocketing into the viral stratosphere, receiving over 300,000 views so far and it's easy to see why.
The thing is a masterpiece.
Though everyone seemed to agree that the samples used for the hook were the highlight of the video.
Though for loyal followers of the channel the best part seemed to be one of their favorite YouTubers receiving some much deserved recognition.
Obviously putting together this kind of video takes a very long time, but if the next one is even close to being as good as this one it will be worth the wait.
