Concerts aren't for everyone.
Some people love the crowds, sounds and atmosphere you can only experience at a concert while those same things are a complete turn off for others.
But the only way to know if you're a concert lover or hater is to experience one.
And some of those experiences are truly unforgettable—not always for good reasons.
Actor and icon George Takei asked Twitter to share their concert experiences.
He tweeted:
"What's the most memorable concert you've ever been to, friends?"

But most people only had good memories.

Verdi's opera Nabucco at the Arena di Verona. Due to rainfall in the middle of the famous chorus we had in fact 3 different versions of „Va, pensiero“, a special intense one with full chorus and a white (!) piano solo. The Arena as a plus. I'll never forget.

Bon Jovi and Skid Row
Both bands brought out special guests during the concert and it turned into a Non Jovi -Skid Row - Aerosmith - Motley Crue concert.
Made my day.

Nirvana, In Utero, Dayton OH 1993…because I was a moron and got into the pit with a still-healing broken finger and re-broke it. Shredded the tendons, still cannot straighten it even after multiple surgeries. ☹️

“@Tweety_1_2_3 @GeorgeTakei I find it always feels like he's very engaged with the audience, really connected, makes a big show feel intimate.”— George Takei (@George Takei) 1667174181

Saw Bob Dylan in East Belfast in the 80s in a tiny sports hall, when Van the man joined him on stage. There was around 400 people max there.
Also saw Dylan supported by Tom petty in London the night the Travelling Wilburys were formed in the storm of 1987.

“@suevon @GeorgeTakei Good for her. My mom came to a Bob Dylan concert with my sisters and I. She was probably about my age now (61) we were standing up front and some guys put her on their shoulders so she could see! 😂😂💀”— George Takei (@George Takei) 1667174181

There have been so many, Uncle George. One sticks out for me - Earth Wind and Fire with Chicago.
They played a few numbers together.
It was joyous!! What a party! A true wall of sound! I'd do that one over and over again!

I actually had to move out bc parents were afraid of festival style concerts after The Who stampede.
Totally worth it pic.twitter.com/EspWiB7unE
