Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was seen this week with what appeared to be severe bruising and bandages on his hands.
The 78 year old Senator, who also seemed to have bruising on his face, eluded questions about health issues stating simply there were "no concerns."

McConnell is up for re-election this year and declined to provide any further explanation for his worrisome appearance. An aide to the Kentucky Senator also remained tight lipped about the situation after multiple inquiries.
In 2019 McConnell suffered a fall in his home that resulted in a fractured shoulder and had a successful triple bypass surgery in 2003. When reporters asked if there were any health concerns constituents should know about McConnell said "of course not" although, he ignored questions asking if he was being treated by a physician.
Despite growing concerns over his appearance McConnell has been working on the Senate floor as usual this week while the chamber is in session, taking time to speak in favor of controversial conservative Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
The amount of discoloration has raised questions about his ability to continue with the duties entrusted to him by voters.
Voters in Kentucky should demand to know what the issue is before deciding whether or not to re-elect him. If he has a serious health issue the public has a right to know.

The people of Kentucky deserve to know what is going on with @senatemajldr's heath before casting their vote. There is something terribly wrong with him and it currently appears he will be unable to make it another 6 years in office.

People in KY have already started voting. We cannot disrupt that process. If his health forces him to resign, or he dies, the governor will handle appointing a temporary replacement. Although he'd be demanding that a Democratic senator step down, we can't stoop to his level.

Well one thing we know for sure, it's not heart problems since he does not have one.

Mr. McConnell, as a resident of Kentucky, the state you "represent", I demand to know what is your current health issue?? Your name appears on the ballot & if you are dying, we have a right to know. What is wrong with you??? pic.twitter.com/x4z8fHv8KQ

Hopefully answers come before Election Day.
