Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown recently revealed she is enrolled for online classes at Purdue University.

Amusing, because it seems she's moved from her star-making role as Eleven in the hit show Stranger Things, which takes place partly in Indiana, to go to college in...Indiana? The show even has an explicit nod to Purdue with a character wearing the university's shirt.

Brown is majoring in Human Services, which she defines in her interview with Allure as where “you learn about the system and how to help young people.”

Reactions were generally supportive, if a bit flummoxed why a British star was studying at Purdue in the United States instead of at a prestigious school in Britain.

She's quickly overtaking Purdue's previous most famous alum, astronaut Neil Armstrong.

Some people commented this was her returning to Indiana, the first time being as her character in Stranger Things.

Several current students and alumni alike from Purdue also commented.

Some clearly have their Twitter feeds tuned to news of Purdue—or follow a lot of former classmates—as they seemed a bit fed up with the news.

No matter the reaction, the general agreement is Brown's choice of school, though unexpected, can only be a good thing.

Kyrsten Sinema And Joe Manchin Give Dems And Labor Unions The Middle Finger With Vote

Outgoing Independent senators Kyrsten Sinema (Arizona) and Joe Manchin (West Virginia) gave Democrats and labor unions the middle finger by siding with Republicans to oppose confirming President Joe Biden's renomination of Lauren McFerran for the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which will let President-elect Donald Trump seize control of the board next year.

NLRB is the federal agency responsible for safeguarding employees’ workplace rights. Sinema and Manchin's decisive “no” votes doomed the nomination, as all Senate Republicans also opposed it. Only one of their votes was needed to secure McFerran’s confirmation.
