A former child actor was arrested after breaking into a home in Van Nuys, California and causing damage to property while high on meth.

Marysville Police Department said that Shaun Weiss—who as a child actor played the character of Greg Goldberg in Walt Disney's Mighty Ducks franchise—broke into a garage and bashed the windshield of the car parked inside.

The department's statement read:

"Weiss forced entry to gain access into the vehicle by shattering a window."
"Officers noticed shattered glass on the ground and observed that the passenger window to the vehicle was broken."

The department's statement added that Weiss:

"displayed symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine."

The homeowner told officers he was the only resident and that no one "had permission to be inside."

Weiss was discovered inside the vehicle and ordered out by the officers.

He admitted that he did not reside at the residence and the vehicle he was "filtering through" was not his.

Weiss is 41, but people noted his mugshot makes him appear much older.

People were genuinely shocked and commented on how much the actor's appearance had deteriorated in a short amount of time.

People were reminded of the destructive effects of drug addiction.

Sympathetic voices wished Weiss onto a path to recovery.

Weiss was booked into the Yuba County Jail for being under the influence of methamphetamine and for residential burglary. He is being held on a $52,500 bond.

The troubled actor had been arrested before in 2018 for being "under the influence of drugs" in Oroville, California, after which he declared he was seeking rehab.

Weiss was a prominent young actor in the early nineties, having appeared in all three of the Mighty Ducks films, starting with the 1992 original starring Emilio Estevez as the defense attorney-turned coach of a youth league hockey team.

Weiss also made appearances in TV, including Charles in Charge, Boy Meets World, Freaks and Geeks and King of Queens.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one.
