The former First Lady had X users scratching their heads after randomly praising the 'electrifying' city.

Former First Lady Melania Trump left the internet confused after posting a random glowing review of New York City.

The 54-year-old Slovenia native relocated to Manhattan when she was 26 to further her modeling career, marking 28 years since her arrival in the U.S. in 1996.

On Tuesday, the wife of Republican ex-President Donald Trump posted a bird's eye view of the Big Apple to accompany her contemplative musings in a rare post on X (formerly Twitter).

“New York City captivated my heart the moment I arrived, 28 years ago today," she said, and continued:

"This electrifying town isn’t just my home; it’s a colorful canvas where dreams come alive."
"New York’s iconic skyline and vibrant culture inspire me every day."

The internet had some things to say about her deep thoughts on NYC.

Some wondered if she ditched Trump to be left alone in the Sunshine State.

One user pointed out her criminally charged husband's possible future residence in the photo.

Some thought it was something straight out of an epilogue from a Sex & and the City episode.

A moviegoer thought her assessment of the city was very reminiscent of Nicole Kidman's hypnotic endorsement of AMC theaters, where we go "to laugh, to cry, to care. Because we need that. All of us."

Melania changed her primary address in Manhattan to her husband's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, where they moved in 2019.

In 1998, she met then-real-estate developer Donald Trump and began dating him. She eventually became one of the first models recruited to his New York City-based modeling agency, Trump Model Management, which Trump closed in April 2017 after he became President.

The couple married in 2005 and had a son, Barron Trump, the following year. Barron, 18, graduated high school in May and will attend university in the Empire State this fall.
