The singer shared on her Workin’ On It podcast how she's no longer able to smile after getting "too much Botox" in her upper lip as part of a "lip flip" procedure.

Meghan Trainor recently shared her disappointing experience with Botox during an episode of her podcast Workin’ On It, which she co-hosts with her brother, Ryan Trainor.

Speaking candidly, Trainor revealed she underwent a Botox “lip flip” procedure to enhance her upper lip, but the results left her with unexpected challenges.

The Cleveland Clinic warns that lip flips can sometimes result in drooling or difficulty speaking if Botox is injected too close to the mouth.

“I got too much Botox, and I need help,” the All About That Bass singer admitted.

She explained that the procedure, designed to relax the upper lip for a fuller appearance, instead left her unable to move her face properly.

“To all my fellow girlies out there who are in your 30s out there, hi. I got too much Botox, and I need help
Someone convinced me with my little lips that – if you did a lip flip [and] you put filler right above your upper lip – you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip and I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living. It was not true.”

Trainor said the experience made her appreciate how much her smile contributes to her personality and presence.

“I cannot smile anymore,” she said, describing the impact on her confidence, adding that her usual bright smile is now a “dim light.”

“I cannot smile anymore. Everywhere I go, I cannot smile.”

People said she should have listened to her own songs.

Some were shocked at how young she was to be using Botox in the first place.

But others said they did “preventative” Botox as early as their twenties.

The procedure Trainor had uses Botox, not filler.

At least this state is temporary.

People lamented the fact that folks were feeling pressured to get these sorts of procedures done.

Historical 'Facts' People Learned In School That Are Actually Not True

The phrase "history is written by the victors" is a common saying. It's often attributed to Winston Churchill, although there's no proof he said those exact words.

It points out that those who win conflicts shape how those events are remembered, recorded, and taught to future generations, leading to biased historical accounts and warped perceptions.
