This week, Meghan Trainor caught a lot of heat after some harsh comments she made on her and her brother Ryan's podcast.
The two hosts of the Workin' on It podcast sat down with Trisha Paytas and talked about motherhood and raising children.
Trainor shared she plans on homeschooling her kids.
"Everyone on TikTok is like, 'This is what it's like having kids in America. I have a bulletproof backpack'."
"I was like, 'F**k all that'."
We get it—it's a terrifying reality.
Paytas agreed and added:
"That, and also kids can be mean - teachers..."
Trainor chimed in:
"F**k teachers, dude."

In response to the online backlash, Trainor issued an apology via TikTok.
She shared:
"Teachers of TikTok and teachers of the world, I recently said, 'F teachers,' on a podcast, and that's not how I feel."
"I was fired up because I was talking about how sending your kid to school here in America is so horrific. What all of us have to go through—especially teachers—is not normal and not okay."
The "All about that Bass" singer added she did not have a positive experience with her own teachers, claiming she was "bullied by some teachers."
"In that moment, I got angry and said, 'F teachers'. F those specific human beings back in the day."
She then said:
"I am so sorry to any teachers I made feel bad, and I will remind myself that my words definitely could have a consequence and I will be more careful."

Many viewers weren't buying it.
People noted the podcast was not aired live meaning the inclusion of the statement was an intentional choice.
In the caption of her TikTok, Trainor thanked a viewer for calling her out.
