In a shocking turn of events, Republican The Viewco-host Meghan McCain is disgruntled about something again.

After Mary Trump, niece and frequent critic of former Republican President Donald Trump, called McCain out for not taking part in a conversation about President Trump's and the Republican Party's racism during her final week on The View, McCain lashed out on Twitter with a pointed and petulant message for Mary Trump.

Though McCain never mentioned Mary Trump directly, the subtext of her tweet was crystal clear.

Obviously referencing Mary Trump, McCain tweeted:

"There is no 'good' Trump family member to me."
"Continue to wish they would all just leave me and my entire family the f**k alone."

Asking to be left "the f**k alone" is an interesting sentiment from a person who chose to become a public figure by outspokenly sharing her political opinions and picking fights with liberals on live television while constantly invoking the name of her equally famous father, late Republican Senator John McCain, whose fame gave her a platform in the first place. But...okay then!

McCain's tweet came in response to comments Mary Trump made during a Monday appearance on The View. Though McCain, a frequent critic of Donald Trump herself, was present earlier in the broadcast, she was conspicuously absent during her colleagues' interview with Mary Trump.

While discussing her new book, The Reckoning: Our Nation's Trauma and Finding a Way to Heal, Mary Trump outlined the role virulent racism and misogyny played in President Trump's political campaigns and the remaking of the Republican Party in his image.

While issuing a warning about the vital importance of tackling these issues to prevent similar political outcomes in the future, Mary Trump took a moment to subtly address McCain's absence.

"It's a shame that your colleague didn't have the courage to come on and have this conversation with me."
"But I appreciate that you were all willing to take up these very difficult subjects because racism, in my view, is at the heart of everything that's wrong in 21st century America."

On Twitter, many people agreed and responded to McCain's tweet with a tidal wave of criticism.

McCain has become notorious for her combative interviews and often belligerent conversations with her co-hosts on The View. Though she called her time on the show a "privilege" when announcing her resignation earlier this summer, her more recent social media posts suggest she has more of a "good riddance" attitude toward the show.
