The actor told 'CBS Sunday Morning' how she believes her late costar, who died in October of 2023, 'visits me a lot.'

Courteney Cox claims she still gets "visits" from her late Friends costar Matthew Perry who died last year.

During an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning, the actor reflected on her relationship with Perry, who played her eventual husband Chandler Bing in the massively popular series that ended almost exactly 20 years ago.

"I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world."
"You know, he's just so funny. He is genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled."
"I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years."

She then revealed that Perry "visits" her often.

"He visits me a lot, if we believe in that."

Cox added:

"I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew."
"I feel like there are a lot of people that, I think, guide us."
"I do sense — I sense Matthew's around for sure."

Perry passed away at age 54 in October of 2023. He was found in the Jacuzzi adjoining the pool at his Pacific Palisades, California, home.

After his passing, his Friends costars—Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer—issued a joint statement that read:

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."
"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."
"In time, we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
