Matt Gaetz Posts Mind-Numbing 'America First' Tweet—And It Instantly Blows Up In His Face

Republican Representative Matt Gaetz just promoted his "America First movement" tour, and it epically backfired on social media.

The far-right Florida Congressman is currently under investigation by the Justice Department for allegations stemming from having sex with a 17-year-old girl and engaging in sex trafficking of minors.

On Thursday morning, Gaetz tweeted:

"Unbossed, unbought, unbowed. That is the mantra of the America First movement."

Gaetz is a co-host to promote an agenda that took its slogan—America First—directly from the Ku Klux Klan. America First is still used heavily by the White nationalist and White supremacist movements.

Hoping to spread his message across the country, Gaetz teamed up with controversial QAnon-loving Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene—who was stripped of her committee assignments after making a series of inflammatory comments on social media, spreading conspiracy theories and after videos of her stalking and harassing teenaged survivors of school shootings resurfaced.

Greene had originally shared all the videos of her stalking and harassing a variety of people online.

Both Gaetz and Greene are also among the most vocal anti-maskers and loudest allies of former President Donald Trump.

Earlier this month, they held "America First" rallies at the Villages in Florida, Mesa, Arizona, and most recently at the Dalton Convention Center in Northwest Georgia where Greene serves as Representative for the state's 14th District.

Social media users offered different interpretations for the "movement" Gaetz tweeted about.

The hits kept coming.

Gaetz recently announced he is eyeing a seat inside the Oval Office by running in the 2024 presidential election. That is, of course, as long as Trump decides not to run.

He told the New York Post:

"I support Donald Trump for President. I've directly encouraged him to run and he gives me every indication he will."
"If Trump doesn't run, I'm sure I could defeat whatever remains of Joe Biden by 2024."

Gaetz said he has not yet launched an exploratory committee to assess his presidential chances, but he does have more rallies scheduled.

He will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Nashua GOP "steak out" in New Hampshire.

Man Who Nancy Mace Accused Of 'Harassing' Her In Ulta Store Speaks Out

South Carolina MAGA Republican Representative Nancy Mace—whose entire brand seems to be attacking people and then crying victim—is being exposed once again for embellishing reality to further her anti-LGBTQ+ agenda.

On April 19, Mace posted a video of her yelling obscenities at a constituent on her social media and later pinning it to the top of her feed. But like many who live in red districts, the man just wanted to know when Mace would hold a town hall to speak to voters.
