Starbucks' Interview with Dr. Bernard LaFayette Jr.

Today, the company's webpage features an interview with Dr. Bernard LaFayette, a member of Dr King's inner circle. Dr. Bernard discusses Project Pilgrimage, a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that "builds interracial and intergenerational community through civic programs."

Starbucks typically remains open (from 9 to 6 or at least a portion of that timeframe) on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Black Friday, New Years Day, and Thanksgiving. Today, Starbucks operates in over 23,760 locations worldwide. As of April 2017, Howard Schultz serves as the company's CEO.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is celebrated annually on the third January of each year. The federal holiday honors Dr. King, who advocated for equal rights using nonviolent resistance. Ronald Reagan signed MLK Day into law in 1983, but it took a while for the trend to catch on. It wasn't until 2000 that the holiday was observed in all 50 states.

Today, MLK Day has been combined with other holidays that observe the fight for freedom. In Alabama, the state recognizes Robert E. Lee and Martin Luther King's birthday. In Arizona, it is a combination of MLK Jr Day and Civil Rights Day.

She steps forward, looks directly into the camera, glances down, then back up again, without uttering a word.

Bad Bunny Hilariously Trolls Fox News Over Their Super Bowl Outrage In 'SNL' Season Opener

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny took aim at Fox News and the conservative outrage over his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show during the season 51 premiere of Saturday Night Live over the weekend, joking that all of his critics have "four months to learn" Spanish if they're that bothered about him singing in his native tongue during football's biggest night.

Bad Bunny will be the first Latin male artist to headline the halftime show, but many of President Donald Trump's supporters have vowed to boycott the event. At least one far-right figure said Bad Bunny "will just further divide the American people" and suggested that either the right-wing performers Kid Rock or Jason Aldean should headline the show instead.
