The Meta founder shared on Instagram that he tore his ACL while preparing for an upcoming MMA fight, which will now need to be delayed.

Mark Zuckerberg revealed he tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while preparing for an upcoming MMA fight—and the Meta founder took to Instagram to share photos post-surgery.

The photos show the Facebook co-founder in good spirits while still in his hospital bed, with a few showing his wife Priscilla Chan tending to him.

He captioned the post:

"Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it."
"Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me."

He continued, noting that the injury he incurred during training will set his fight back, but that he is greatly anticipating it nonetheless.

"I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that's delayed a bit. Still looking forward to doing it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support."

Viewers of the post wished Zuckerberg a speedy recovery.

Of course, the news of Zuckerberg's injury has greatly riled Elon Musk supporters wishing to see the two in a cage fight, especially since just a week ago Musk claimed on The Joe Rogan Experience that the Meta CEO "chickened out."

While it's true Zuckerberg backed out of a potential fight, it wasn't for lack of preparation or planning...It just wasn't worth his time.

He shared on his own X rival Threads:

"I think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on."
“I offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity."
"Elon won’t confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead.”

Welp, looks like that window has officially closed.

Get well soon, Zuck!

Will Smith Sparks Rumors He'll Be Starring In A 'Matrix' Sequel After Sharing Cryptic Video

We're all human here, and sometimes, we can't help but imagine what might have been.

A long-standing bit of gossip from Hollywood is that I, Robot's Will Smith turned down the opportunity to star in The Matrix, believing that the film Wild, Wild West was a better fit for his film presence, not to mention his inaccurate prediction that his film would be more successful than the franchise that would cast Keanu Reeves as Neo.

GOP Senator's Husband Ripped For Refusing To Shake Harris's Hand At Swearing-In Ceremony

Nebraska Republican Senator Deb Fischer's husband Bruce went viral after refusing to shake the hand of Vice President Kamala Harris—or even look at her—during his wife's swearing-in ceremony on Monday.

The exchange proceeded routinely, with Harris leading Senator Fischer in the oath of office. Fischer recited the oath, and the two shook hands as Harris thanked her for her contributions. However, when Harris turned to greet Bruce Fischer, saying, "May I extend congratulations to you?" and extending her hand, he declined to shake it, only saying, "Thank you," before averting his gaze.
