Ever have your children walk in on you and your spouse while doing the McNasty?
Ever walk in on your own parent(s)?
You're not alone.
Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos – who was stepping in for co-host Ryan Seacrest on Live With Kelly and Ryan – recounted on Monday's show about the time when their 18-year-old daughter Lola caught them doing the parallel dance under the sheets.
"It happened again," declared Consuelos, who currently stars on the CW's Riverdale. Rip and Consuelos originally met when they portrayed Mateo Santos and Hayley Vaughn on the soap opera All My Children from 1995-2002.
The two returned briefly in 2010 for the shows 40th anniversary.
The early morning deed took place on Father's Day, which is also Lola's birthday.
She certainly was not expecting to see this surprise.
Watch the two describing how it all went down in this hilarious video clip.

"We thought she knocked on our door," Consuelos said, to which an incredulous Ripa responded, "What do you mean 'you thought' she knocked on the [bedroom] door?" remembering the incident differently.
Ripa added while stifling a giggle:
"I'm gonna be honest. I wasn't in the mood. There was a house full of people."
Consuelos interjected:
"You weren't in the mood, I can tell. You were going through the motions."
The studio audience howled with laughter over their candid exchange.
Some people online squirmed.
While others found this relatable.
Ripa continued to defend her lack of being present during their intimate romp.
"Any time there's other people in the house, I'm not really..."
"Relaxed," remarked Consuelos.
Ripa quoted her daughter, saying:
"You just ruined my birthday and my life. And I used to see color and now everything is gray."
Over the "awkward brunch" that followed the wake-up call, Lola was still recovering from her unfortunate timing.
Lola apparently told the two lovebirds:
"You're disgusting. You guys have no chill. You act like you're 20, but you're not."
While Consuelos claimed Lola didn't see anything in particular, Ripa joked she was getting CPR.
Some people gasped over the 18-year-old witnessing a playback of her conception.
Twitter told them to chill.
Still, from a teenage daughter's perspective, this is a doozy.
So, is this a regular occurrence in the household?
A message to all teenagers about to barge in on their parents: when in doubt, knock.
Of course, Lola knows where she came from. But she didn't need to see that.
Umm...happy birthday!
Kelly Ripa penned the book I Love You, Mom!: A Celebration of Our Mothers and Their Gifts to Us, available here. She probably did not include the gift she gave Lola.
