Pro-Trump Lawyer Slams QAnon Rep as a 'Communist' for the Most Trumpian Reason

Far-right Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and Pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wood share a lot of common ground.

They've spent most of their lives in Georgia. Their public support for deranged conspiracy theories like QAnon have discredited them in mainstream society. They both continue to promote the delusion that Trump lost the 2020 election because Democrats "stole" his victory through widespread fraud.

From 2020 to 2021, Wood even represented Greene, along with other infamous figures in the pro-Trump sphere,. More of Wood's clients include the McCloskey couple and Kyle Rittenhouse, both of whom faced charges for their use of weapons to intimidate and (in Rittenhouse's case) murder Black Lives Matter protesters.

So it would seem Wood and Greene should be ideologically unified, but recent barbs exchanged between the two reveal that's not the case.

It all started when Lin Wood, in a radio interview, called Greene a word that conservatives detest; the C-word.

That's right, he called her a communist.

His reasoning was as follows:

"In my opinion, Marjorie Taylor Greene is a communist. If Marjorie Taylor Greene is running around saying 'impeach Biden,' that says that Biden won. He didn't. And you would never impeach him with a communist Congress. It's a waste of time, it's all show. A traitor will come to you as a patriot. Be careful."

Greene, who was stripped of her committee assignments for her prior belief in deranged conspiracy theories and support for the execution of her now-colleagues, now has little more to do than demand Biden's impeachment. She's also frequently painted various people, organizations, and governments "communist."

So it comes as no surprise that Greene didn't mince words in her response.

Greene accused Wood of trying to grift millions of dollars in donations to Kyle Rittenhouse after Rittenhouse fired him. She also accused him of not being supportive enough of the January 6 insurrection, when a mob of pro-Trump extremists stormed the United States Capitol to beat police officers, terrorize elected officials, and stampede their own allies to death.

Wood later said he would pray for Greene, despite continuing to mock her.

The QAnon Congresswoman wasn't happy about that at all.

Without a hint of self-awareness, Greene accused him of "us[ing] Bible verses to manipulate others and deceive them in his lies, while claiming to be a follower of Jesus."

She concluded:

"Don't pray for me Lin Wood. We don't serve the same God because it's clear you're serving the father of lies."

People were divided on who to hate more.

Others cackled to see two dangerous conspiracy theorists work so hard to out-right each other.

Awkward.
