Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is infamous for her past support of deranged conspiracy theories, including beliefs that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton murders babies and drinks their blood, that Jewish space lasers are responsible for devastating California wildfires, and that school shootings are secretly planned by Democrats to weaken support for the Second Amendment.

But while it was her delusions that got her stripped of her committee assignments by the Democratic-led House of Representatives, it was her glaring factual inaccuracies that just got Guam's Governor to issue a scathing correction.

In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference last month, Greene told attendees:

"I'm a regular, normal person. And I wanted to take my regular, normal person, normal, everyday American values, which is: We love our country. We believe our hard-earned tax dollars should just go for America, not for what, China, Russia, the Middle East, Guam — whatever, wherever."

Guam has been a part of the United States since 1899, and its residents are United States citizens. It also played a crucial role in World War II, hosting thousands of U.S. troops.

On Thursday, in comments to the Guam Daily Post, a spokeswoman for its Democratic Governor, Lourdes Leon Guerrero, said:

"We would be more than happy to send Representative Greene's office a copy of 'Destiny's Landfall: A History of Guam.' "

The gaffe sparked even more mockery of Greene.






The ridicule didn't stop there.



Greene has yet to respond.
