QAnon Rep. Claims She 'Didn't Know' The 'Jewish Space Lasers' Conspiracy Was Antisemitic

Earlier this year, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia became the subject of online ridicule after a Facebook post from November 2018 indicated she believed in an antisemitic conspiracy theory involving Jewish space lasers.

The little-known conspiracy theory suggested the 2018 California wildfires were set on purpose by space lasers controlled by corporate banking interests including the Rothschild family.

Now, however, Greene is claiming she isn't antisemitic because she supposedly didn't know the Rothschilds were Jewish at the time.

Twitter couldn't help but respond in exasperation to Greene's latest claim.

Though it's strangely easy to believe Greene didn't know such an obvious fact, it's also bizarre she wouldn't bother to dispute her belief in the space lasers.

Greene is grossly unqualified to be representing anyone in Congress.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has never encountered a conspiracy theory she wouldn't shamelessly promote.

Many online didn't believe Greene was unaware of the Rothschilds' Jewishness.

Efforts to have Marjorie Taylor Greene removed from Congress continue, though their success seems unlikely as she retains the support of most Republicans in the House.
