The 'Barbie' star opened up about the things the doll was allowed to do before women were, and how it potentially shaped what women thought was possible in an interview that went viral on TikTok.

In a viral clip posted to TikTok by IGN, Margot Robbie revealed how Barbie was a trailblazer for feminism, and her reasoning is on point.

In the video, Robbie - sitting next to her costar, Ryan Gosling (he's just Ken) - explained:

"Barbie went to the moon before women were allowed credit cards."
"And... Barbie did all this stuff at a time when they could not have any financial autonomy in their lives."

She continued:

"... Surely that infiltrated our collective mind in some way, and made us go, 'Hmmm.'"
"I want a dream house. I want my own house. I want my own car."
"I want to do whatever job I want to do."

Robbie finished her thought:

"Anyway, that got deep."

She then asked Gosling if he had a "quick, fun" response to which he replied:

"No. That was amazing."
