TikToker and OnlyFans creator Madi Ruvee was filming her workout at the gym when a man approached her and called her out—and the situation has left viewers divided.

Viewers of a now-viral TikTok are split over who's in the wrong after a woman documented the moment a man approached her mid-workout at the gym to tell her she's "what's wrong with girls."

TikToker and OnlyFans creator Madi Ruvee took to the social media platform to ask viewers if the man was "valid for this," thus beginning a great debate in the comments.

The video displayed the text, "this is why 2024 is unsafe for women..." and shows Ruvee doing deep pulse squats with a medicine ball when a guy approaches her and asks:

"Yo what are you doing?"

Ruvee stops her exercise and responds:

"My leg day warm up."

The man then goes off, telling her:

"No don't give me that bullsh*t, I know you know what you're doing."

The creator then replied once again:

"My leg day warmups."

And then the man went off.

"You realize that you're actually what's wrong with girls. You're actually what's wrong with girls."
"This is f**king ridiculous. Don't come to my gym to do this sh*t."
"Keep this sh*t online, bro. Don't f**king do this at my gym."

He proceeded to kick her phone.

Ruvee showed the aftermath at the end of the video, revealing a cracked screen.

Others, however, felt the TikToker's video had nothing to do with an actual workout.

Many also felt that, regardless of who was in the wrong, kicking the phone was too much.

Given all the feedback, especially the comments siding with the man at the gym, Ruvee posted a follow-up calling out viewers who said she "deserved" the man's rant.

"So just because I do [OnlyFans] I'm not allowed to stretch at the gym? Because before I started [OnlyFans] I was doing that same stretch before every leg day."
"And also to all the girls saying that I deserved it, and all the people saying that I deserve to have my phone kicked, I deserve to be harassed in public because I was minding my own business in the smallest corner of the gym [...] It's really sad to me to see all these comments saying that I deserve something because I went to the gym and I was stretching."

Replying to @Mario Ochoa no one deserves to be harassed in public because of their job

She does make some great points. Regardless of what was actually happening, the situation definitely could have been handled in a more professional way.
