TikToker @expiredglutenfreebread was confused after getting a call from her apartment building's maintenance guy saying he 'put a towel' over the 'personal item' he saw in her bathroom—but it turned out it was just her NuFACE facial toning device.

A woman on TikTok went viral after she revealed a maintenance worker at her apartment mistook her NuFACE for a more "personal item."

TikToker @expiredglutenfreebread shared her harrowing journey to her apartment after she received a call from the worker telling her that he hid the item because male plumbers would be in her bathroom.

She explained:

"Um I just got a call, this is incredibly embarrassing, but I got a call from someone from my apartment complex — I had them come in to like take care of something in the bathroom, like my toilet's just like on the fritz, and they said that there was a personal item in the bathroom?"

The creator continued:

"I'm having like stuff done in my apartment today like 'cause sh*t is leaking, so, I get a call from the maintenance guy, he's like, 'uh, just letting you know I found a personal item in your bathroom,' and I know this guy, he's like, 'there's random guys coming for your toilet."'

The TikToker shared her confusion with another person offscreen.

But then she realized that the worker likely confused her facial toning device for a sex toy.

"It's like what the f**k could it be? Oh look, it's my f**king NuFACE"
"It's my NuFACE!"

After the other person asked if the worker touched the device, the TikToker replied, laughing hysterically:

"He said he put a towel over it!"

She then added:

"I know, I know, I think that that's what he thinks it was, even though...that's the thing, so now I wanna die."
"I'm like 99 percent sure that it's this particular thing."
"I literally cannot f**king wait to see what this is."

As she enters her apartment, she nervously said, "Ok. Oh my God. OK," before turning on the bathroom lights to reveal a small towel on her vanity top.

The TikToker lifted the towel to reveal, as she expected, her NuFACE.

"It's a NuFACE!"
