MAGA Fan Believes Biden Is Actually Just Jim Carrey In A Mask—And Carrey Is Shaking His Head

Social media users were left dumbfounded after one of former President Donald Trump's ardent supporters insisted Democratic President Joe Biden is in fact dead and the imposter is actually just actor Jim Carrey in a mask.

Video of the encounter was shared by The Good Liars, a comedy duo known for lampooning American politics with digs at Chick-fil-A, Scientology, Fox News, QAnon, the Trump family and former New Jersey Republican Governor Chris Christie.

The woman, who wore a T-shirt bearing an animated likeness of the former President, claimed "the person that’s doing the stand-up job of trying to wake people up, is an actor wearing a mask."

She said she believes "there are several different people playing Joe Biden at this point."

The woman then referenced a moment last year when Biden fell three times walking up the stairs of Air Force One, saying she thinks "that was Jim Carrey," who was “being silly by falling up the stairs three different times."

You can hear her remarks in the video below.

Carrey is of course an actor, having generated billions of dollars at the global box office thanks to his performances in films such as Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Bruce Almighty when not appearing in more arthouse fare like The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

But the only connection he has to Biden is he played Biden in six episodes of Saturday Night Live in the leadup to the 2020 general election.

The conspiracy theory soon caught his eye and his response–"Oh dear"–garnered even more attention than the original video itself.

Carrey's remark spared responses from others who took to social media to express their own disbelief.

Many of the former President's supporters have attracted attention for making bizarre claims, behavior that has sparked discussion among mental health experts and political scientists alike who've expressed concerns about the prevalence of conspiracy theories within the right-wing ecosystem.

Earlier this month, a woman who attended a rally Trump held in Michigan went viral after she claimed the Space Force has information the 2020 general election was stolen and will ultimately work with Trump to overturn the results, which found Biden the rightful winner of both the popular and electoral votes.

The woman, who identified herself only as Julie, did not explain how the Space Force—created by Trump as a new branch of the military in December 2019—obtained this information or why they have chosen not to act on it.

Nonetheless, she seemed utterly convinced this information would lead to a global reckoning over "the deep state," a widely discredited conspiracy theory which claims the existence of a clandestine group who exercise power from within high levels of government, finance and industry in the United States.

In the digital age, publicity can quickly reach a global audience. Any missteps or poor choices are out there before damage control can be done.

Close—best known for starring in such classics as Fatal Attraction and who recently received raves for her work on Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery—condemned the "cold-blooded murder of American citizens" and warned Trump that "there will be hell to pay" as more and more people rise up against his leadership.

Gavin Newsom Epically Rips JD Vance And MAGA Senator Over Their Hot Takes On Minneapolis Shootings

California Governor Gavin Newsom criticized Vice President JD Vance and Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton after they both posted heartless remarks about the recent killings of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti by ICE agents in Minneapolis.

Earlier this month, ICE agent Jonathan Ross killed Good in her car. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin claimed Good “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them.”

AOC Goes Nuclear On Kristi Noem For Suggesting That Protesters Who Show Up With Firearms Deserve To Die

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called out Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's hypocrisy after Noem responded to the murder of 37-year-old ICU nurse Alex Pretti by ICE agents in Minneapolis by claiming that protesters who show up with firearms aren't "peaceful."

Calls for an investigation have intensified from across the political spectrum after analysis of multiple videos showed ICE officers removing a handgun from Pretti—whom authorities said was permitted to carry but was not handling—before fatally shooting him.
