WATCH: Madame Tussauds Bashes Disney's Donald Trump Animatronic

Donald Trump was officially inducted into the famed Hall of Presidents attraction inside the Magic Kingdom of the Walt Disney World resort as an audio-animatronic, and much like its beleaguered human counterpart, the robotic incarnate of 45 is also getting ripped apart on social media.

But fingers are being pointed at Disney artisans for a hack job, especially by Madame Tussauds wax museum. If you look at the video and photos online, the new figure doesn't resemble anything close to Donald Trump's.

On Tuesday, the Orlando location of the wax museum juxtaposed a photo of their wax figure with Disney's animatronic with the caption, "ME AT THE START OF 2017 VS ME NOW."

If there were an authority on flawlessly replicating real-life figures, Madame Tussauds would be boss. The wax museum's dig at Disney impressed social media.

Nevermind the technical wizardry of the animatronic's fluid and lifelike movements, Disney racks up enough accolades on that score. The prosthetic stretched across the president's mug was just not cutting it as a good clone, and it drew comparisons to Jon Voight and even Hillary Clinton.

Late Night's Seth Meyers burned Disney's contribution to the Hall of Presidents. "Disney World, was that supposed to go in the Haunted Mansion?” quipped Meyers along with the photo of the new exhibit addition. “Even Lincoln is looking at him like ‘this is the worst thing that ever happened to me.’"

Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon joked about how much of an impact the president was having at Disney, saying, “Today, he deported Aladdin, and he gave Scrooge McDuck a tax break,” he said and later adding, “You can tell it's Trump's robot because Putin's backstage controlling it."

Bringing Trump into the Hall of Presidents sparked early concern. His presidential campaign was marked by a litany of demeaning and hateful speeches that prompted an online petition encouraging Disney to prevent the animatronic figure from speaking.

The petition on Change.org pleaded for the attraction to maintain its integrity, as Walt Disney World is a place for "children and families."

We ask that Walt Disney World take a stand against divisive and hurtful rhetoric and have the backs of millions of Americans and people worldwide whose day would be ruined by the depiction of a speech by Donald Trump.

In June, the Disney Parks Blog confirmed that the new president would have a speaking role in the refurbished attraction as it always had since 1993 and recording scheduling conflicts with Trump would delay the reopening.

The attraction has been a fixture of the Magic Kingdom park since its opening in 1971. It features 44 animatronic figures representing all the American presidents inside a 700-seat auditorium with an exterior modeled after Philadelphia's Independence Hall.

Disney's history of the attraction claims the show's concept was "too ambitious for the technology of the time," and the first figures "didn't quite look and act as Walt Disney had originally envisioned."

At least Disney got Trump's low-hanging tie and trademark hair done right.
