A Bunch Of Anti-Vaxxers Just Tried To Storm BBC Headquarters—But Were At The Wrong Building

Even with the Delta variant causing a spike in new Covid-19 cases worldwide, people all over the world are still refusing to get vaccinated.

And with more and more offices, restaurants and entertainment venues gradually requiring proof of vaccination for entry, protests are becoming more and more common.

This includes a recent protest in London England, when a British anti-lockdown group known as "Official Voice" staged a protest against the BBC for "not giving out right information" as reported by Indy100.

Indeed, the protest outside of the BBC Television Centre in west London grew heated fairly quickly.

As evidenced by a video posted on Twitter from television host and anti-vaxxer, Gillian McKeith, Police barred the angry group from entering the building.

However, there was one small factor the protestors didn't seem to realize. They were at the wrong building.

The BBC vacated the west London Television Centre in 2013, moving to a location in central London's Portland Place.

Official Voice was instead protesting at a building which has largely been converted into luxury apartments, with a small handful of studios remaining, only used by ITV, not the BBC.

Indeed, Loose Women, a British talk show similar to The View, was filming at the time of the protest, and co-host Charlene White was rather amused by the blunder, telling The Guardian:

"Not sure what protesters were hoping to achieve, but all they would've found was me, Jane, Nadia and Penny on Loose Women talking about the menopause."

Indeed, others couldn't wait to take to Twitter to express their amusement at the protestor's ironic mistake, cementing the fact that those resistant to getting vaccinated are full of misinformation.

The ever outspoken Piers Morgan, who credits the Astra-Zeneca vaccine for saving his life after contracting COVID-19 himself, also couldn't help but condemn the protestors.

Memes were also fairly quick to materialize, mocking the protestors incorrect and outdated research and sources.

As reported by The Guardian no arrests were made at the protest, and the BBC has yet to comment.

It also remains to be seen just how quickly "Official Voice" will plan to stage another protest against "misinformation", or whether or not they'll at least hold it at the right location next time.
