The singer filmed herself penning a message of love and support to fans who are reeling from Kamala Harris's election loss—but all anyone could focus on was her odd way of holding a pen.

Lizzo was roasted for the way she wrote with a pen after she took some time to check in with her fans with a special message.

The Instagram video of her handwriting the note was in response to the post-election blues after Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President-elect Donald Trump earlier last week.

The "Good as Hell" rapper's video showed a closeup of her left hand putting pen to paper, writing, "Sending love to everyone in the world. Love, Lizzo."

But the way she gripped the pen looked more like she was about the stab the blank sheet.

It was a thoughtful and genuine endeavor meant for dejected voters still processing the election results and fearing the immediate future.

Still, fans couldn't help pointing out the way Lizzo gripped the pen.

Aside from being a four-time Grammy Award winner and Time magazine's 2019 "Entertainer of the Year, " Lizzo is also known as an advocate for body positivity and for being open with fans about her mental health and depression.

In August, the 36-year-old posted a non-verbal Instagram video of her walking out onto a balcony at a hotel resort in her bathing suit and embracing the light rain.

In the caption, she wrote:

"I’m taking a gap year & protecting my peace🙏🏾"

Thanks for checking in with us after the election, Lizzo.

We love you too. 😘

Vance Cites ‘Traffic Violations’ To Help Justify Sending Migrant Dad To El Salvador Prison

Vice President J.D. Vance was criticized after he doubled down on his insistence that a Maryland father who was accidentally deported to an El Salvadorian prison due to an "administrative error" was a criminal, justifying the move—much to the anger of social media users—because the man had "traffic violations" that warranted his removal.
