Theater Accidentally Plays 'Little Mermaid' And 'Transformers' Trailers At The Same Time—And It's Magical

TikTok and viewers in the movie theater were enthralled by the trailers lining up perfectly, all set to 'Part of Your World.'

Given the nature of our jobs, social circles and even personal lives, technical difficulties are just part of our world.

But every once in a while, one of those technical difficulties is a blessing in disguise.

Due to an issue with a movie projector, viewers at a movie theater recently had the chance to see The Little Mermaid movie trailer mashed up with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.

The results left everyone wishing to be a part of that world.

The moment was shared by @etalkctv on TikTok. The video ended with the audience applauding the unique presentation.

The two movie trailers were visually overlapped with only the audio track from The Little Mermaid playing. So while the Autobots are hard at work amidst explosions and an animatronic revolution, Ariel is singing about, apparently, becoming a part of that world.

The end of the mash-up shows Ariel's iconic moment of bursting from the water, followed by a mermaid swimming with dolphins and machines, and ending with the Transformers logo transposed with The Little Mermaid, leaving everyone to wonder at the possibility of future "mermacons."

You can watch the trailer mash-up here:

The video garnered 363 thousand likes and 2.2 million views on TikTok in under three days. Similarly, on Twitter, it received 3.6 million views and 42.7 thousand likes.

TikTokers were floored by both how cool the potential film looked and how well the music matched up.

Twitter was similarly moved and dreamed of someday seeing the movie.

And the puns and jokes were, of course, abundant.

While this was only a result of a technical glitch and surely a one-time thing, it's easy to understand why the audience was so excited and why social media mirrored that excitement.

The Autobots, after all, have traveled all across the world, so it only stands to reason viewers would expect them to eventually find their way into the ocean.

But on the other hand, Ariel always wanted to be where the people are. It might as well happen for her during an explosive revolution.

Ursula, surely, would find a way to join the Decepticons, though.

American YouTuber Arrested After Sneaking Onto Remote Island And Leaving Diet Coke For Uncontacted Tribe

24-year-old YouTuber Mykhailo Viktorovych Polyakov was arrested after making contact with one of the world's last uncontacted tribes, making the perilous and ill-advised journey to North Sentinel Island and leaving a coconut and a can of Diet Coke on the beach as a gift to the Sentinelese.

Polyakov, 24, arrived at the northeastern shore of North Sentinel Island at 10 a.m. on March 29, according to police reports. He used binoculars to survey the land but saw no one. He then climbed ashore, leaving behind a Diet Coke and a coconut, took sand samples, and recorded a video, the authorities said.
