Lindsey Graham Suggests Rep. Greene's Posts Are 'Manipulated'—Gets Immediately Called Out By Reporter

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina was recently asked to respond to the numerous videos that emerged of Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, a member of his own party.

Senator Graham failed to denounce Greene's many false claims—many featured on her own videos showing her harassing people—which included:

  • conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook shooting
  • conspiracy theories about the Parkland shooting
  • conspiracy theories about the September 11 terrorist attacks
  • a Jewish space laser started the California wildfires
  • harassing Democratic Muslim Congresswomen Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota to try to force them to retake their oaths of office on a Christian Bible

Graham instead said he wanted to speak with Greene before responding.

Graham expressed hope Greene's statements were manipulated in some way.

When a reporter pointed out in many cases Greene can be seen on video expressing these exact opinions, Graham still refused to denounce her.

An almost unbelievable number of career-ending videos have emerged of Greene since she was elected to Congress.

It seems pretty unlikely each of them was misunderstood or tampered with in some way.

Many on Twitter pointed out Marjorie Taylor Greene simply takes the rhetoric of the Republican party to its natural conclusion.

Graham wants to give Greene every opportunity to talk her way out of the consequences he knows she deserves.

The Senator later repeated his message on Twitter.

Social media couldn't believe Graham had so little integrity.

Perhaps after he gets caught up on some of Marjorie Taylor Greene's videos, Graham will have a change of heart.
